# Cube Construction

This is a simple interactive that does nothing more than allow you to create 3D drawings of models made with cubes. Drag cubes from the left to construct your diagrams.

It was designed to be a tool for teachers or pupils to use when working on the following activities:

In addition this tool can be used work on the following investigations:

• How many three-cube towers can you make if you can only use red and yellow cubes?
• In how many different ways can four cubes be attached together face to face?
• How many times bigger is a cuboid that is two cubes high, two cubes wide and two cubes deep compared with one that is one cube high, one cubes wide and one cube deep?

Learning and understanding Mathematics, at every level, requires learner engagement. Mathematics is not a spectator sport. Sometimes traditional teaching fails to actively involve students. One way to address the problem is through the use of interactive activities and this web site provides many of those.
